Kenya now has water... too much water! Many people have lost their lives to the flood waters... many more are homeless. The food shortage is felt even more now by this pastor as he tries to feed all those who are now homeless as well!
There is also a great need for medication and mosquito netting. Because of the flooding, the people are subjected to water-borne illnesses. Items such as over-the-counter anti-diarrhea medications, vitamins, powdered electrolyte beverages are greatly needed. As a result of the abundant stagnant water, the mosquitoes are becoming a huge source of sickness as they carry malaria. The mosquito netting greatly reduces this problem - especially for the infants and children who cannot defend themselves from the onslaught of the insect!
